Rental Quad
Maio Island is a place to explore and admire, and Big Game Maio is thrilled to offer its customers an exceptional ATV rental service. You'll have the opportunity to visit the island's picturesque villages, the salt flats, and all the beaches that can only be reached by our ATVs or off-road vehicles. ATVs are the ideal way to discover the beaches and pristine corners of paradise! Upon rental, we'll also provide you with a map of the island and recommend the best places to visit. Furthermore, Maio Island is quite small, making it perfect for exploring by ATV. Turtle Excursions
Maio, Cape Verde's Hidden Turtle Sanctuary: The Cape Verde archipelago is renowned globally as the world's third-largest sea turtle nesting reserve. Among its islands, Maio stands out as a true ecological jewel, a crucial refuge for these ancient creatures. Maio Island, with its pristine beaches and less frequented by mass tourism than other islands in the archipelago, offers an excellent breeding habitat. Guided tours to watch the turtles lay their eggs can be organized from June to September.
